The fan-less ePC-Lite, originally introduced in 2010 as a ‘lite’ on features, big on quality offering from the Nematron stable gets a facelift with new processor, display size and storage options.   Re-chipping the unit with the more recent Dual Core Intel Atom N2800 1.86GHz CPU produces over 2 times the processing power and with a very healthy 646 benchmark the ePC-Lite is certainly punching above its weight.  The N2800 is unlikely to be phased by even the most complex SCADA/HMI applications.

The original one size fits all concept mould is also broken with the addition of a 19.0” 1280 x 1024 display option to meet the growing demand for larger screens – both the 15.0” and 19.0” display employ LED backlit  technology.  Nematron are championing SSD Storage and have furnished the new ePC-Lite with a mSATA Drive to take advantage of a dramatic increase in speed, performance, and reliability - while also eliminating cabling to the motherboard and reducing power consumption.

A compact, screen-less version manifests itself in the form of the ‘nPC-10 Node’ which offers the same CPU, Storage and I/O options – just minus the screen!
